November 2005 saw the return of the "Old Boys Dinner".
A very succesful evening was had at the club attended by a large number of `Old Boys` with the profits swelling the funds of the URFC Founding Fathers for donation to local charities and deserving causes.
A superb meal was cooked by chefs Al Bate and Trotty and enjoyed by all those present. The `Old Boys` sat down to a meal of Country vegetable Soup with Cheesy Croutons and Crusty French Bread followed by Medallions of Beef in a Whisky and Cream Sauce with Roasted Rosemary Potatoes, Mustard Mash with chopped Spring Onions, Buttered Carrots, Peas and Yorkshire Puddings followed by Chocolate Torte and Cream all washed down with a half bottle of wine at the all inclusive price of £10.
The evening ended with a good old fashioned `choir practice`!
