 On Sunday 9th July the Founding Fathers of Uckfield Rugby Club gave a little girls dream to swim with dolphins a boost when they presented her with a cheque for £300.
Ashanti was born with a rare genetic disorder which accelerates the ageing process and she is not expected to live beyond puberty.
Pete Turner , Chairman of the Founding Fathers said that after the theft of the collection box at the Riverside Restaurant in Uckfield (another one has also been stolen since) they wanted to do something to help and compensate for the loss of the money.

The Rugby Club had a collection and the total raised was added to by the Uckfield Rugby Club Founding Fathers and a final sum of £300 was obtained. The Founding Fathers hope this will help Ashanti to make the trip of her dreams come true.
